I believe that art and work without a cause are meaningless. Theatre should be a platform for representing diverse voices, and advocating for inclusion must be at its forefront. Phamaly exemplifies the kind of work I aspire to be part of, using theatre to uplift underrepresented communities. Musana inspires me in a different but equally powerful way—its commitment to sustainability not only preserves the environment but also ensures that voices and stories continue to thrive for generations to come.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Phamaly Theatre while attending the Community College of Aurora. I deeply admire their mission to provide a creative home for theatre artists with disabilities, model an inclusive theatrical process, and challenge conventional narratives by transforming individuals, audiences, and the world. Phamaly Theatre Company strives to create a world in which disability and the differences within the human condition are celebrated, and the theatre experience is accessible and welcoming to all.

A company that I am really passionate about is Musana, with their sustainable practices and faith-based work. While studying management at MSU, I had the opportunity to advocate for their mission during Denver Good Business Week, supporting their efforts to break cycles of dependency and uplift communities through locally-owned social enterprises. Musana’s self-sustaining businesses generate profits that fund essential programs like healthcare and education, creating jobs and fostering long-term growth in the communities they serve.
